Grape Gorgonzola Pizza

Sweet grapes, savory sausage, bold Gorgonzola, all on a crispy premade crust = gourmet made EASY!

Ingredients:

1 premade pizza crust (store-bought or par-baked)
1/3 cup apple juice
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
3/4 cup red or black seedless grapes, halved
1/2 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
1 medium onion, chopped
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp fresh rosemary, chopped (optional but amazing)
Freshly ground black pepper
Honey (for drizzling, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (or follow crust package instructions).
  2. Place your premade crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone and brush lightly with olive oil.
  3. In a medium saucepan add juice and sugar. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil stirring until the sugar dissolves. Continue to boil until reduced to about 1 tablespoon. Approx. 5 minutes. Add grapes and gently stir to coat. Remove from heat and set aside.
  4. Sprinkle pizza dough evenly with mozzarella, then Gorgonzola.
  5. Add the cooked sausage, onion, and the cooked grape halves across the top.
  6. Sprinkle with rosemary and a touch of black pepper.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is golden.
  8. Optional: After baking, drizzle with honey for a sweet finish.
