Stuffed Bell Peppers Recipe

  •  4 large bell peppers
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ¼ cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 teaspoon Redmond Real salt
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 cups tomato sauce
  • ¾ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, jack, mozzarella, blend)

Warm oven to 350 degrees. Cut the top (stem end) of each bell pepper off. Remove the seeds and membranes and rinse. Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet until cooked through and drain the fat. Stir in the cooked rice, Redmond Real salt, garlic and tomato sauce and cook on medium heat until hot. Stuff meat mixture into each prepared bell pepper and place in an ungreased 8” square baking dish. Cover with foil and bake 25-30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese the last 5 minutes of baking.
